They say childhood is the best time of your life. When you are young, in your childhood, you don’t see it but as you grow older, you realize how true it is. Those days, spout, Trident and other famous chewing gum brands weren’t a thing. It was just ding dong. You can still quite easily find it at a nearby store, but its hype has considerably died down over the years.


Polo:


The big brother of mentos in Pakistan is what I like to call it. Polo is a mint that has a hole in its centre and it is so refreshing and tasty that just writing about it is making me miss it! You can still find it at some stores, but, like ding dong, it’s not as popular as it once was. I still strongly believe that this mint is much better than the alternatives that have come in the market.


Chilli Milli:


Candyland’s chilli milli is one of a kind. It’s a gummy bear that is spicy and sweet in taste. Some call it a signature Pakistani snack, and I am inclined to agree. You’ll only enjoy it if you have a love for Pakistani and Indian cuisine because spicy candies aren’t for everyone to enjoy!


Cocomo:


This particular snack is loved by people of all ages. And the good thing is that over the years, it hasn’t lost its popularity. In fact, many different flavours of the snack have come about now. But, the best still remains to be the chocolate one!
